Position: Corporate Continuous Improvement Leader
Location: Corporate - Adrian, MI
Reports to: Director, Continuous Improvement

Position Description:
In conjunction with the Director of Continuous Improvement, develops the CI Vision. Promotes Lean Six Sigma and Value Stream Management methodologies as a means to support Operational Excellence company wide. Provides direction, leadership and supervision to the Plant CI Leaders in US and Mexico. Develops and maintains standard metrics, templates, training, project lists, cost saving worksheets, etc. Aids Director of CI in adminstration of the CI Council.

Responsibilities:
Establishes annual savings and performance goals for each facility and Corporate.
Provides hands on leadership during Value Stream mapping events, documentation of the current state and development of the future state. Assists in the development of the improvement plan, including identifying non-value added activity, improvement opportunities and Kaizen events to achieve the future state.
Develops and executes the Lean and Six Sigma training plan.
Develops and manages the standard 5S program.
Summarizes and reports on collective cost saving projects; assists in compiling cost savings and project reports.
Supports plant management in identifying key opportunities that drive Lean Six Sigma and optimize performance.
Hands on, floor participation in key events and improvement activities.
A leader in the cultural change needed to move Lean Six Sigma from a program to the process by which we manage and drive our improvement efforts.
Assists Plant CI Leaders in mentoring and coaching project leaders, assisting them with proper tool usage, documentation, financial verification and steps of the DMAIC process.
Ability to travel a minimum of 40% to support plants and Corporate locations.
Works as liason with customers and suppliers to extend L6S methodologies throughout the supply chain.
Supports and manages Plant CI Leaders to achive annual savings and performance goals.
Develops, administers and maintains CI assessment process, criteria and documents.
Actively supports and manages to Process Based Leadership, 10 Commitments and 8 People Principles.

Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (in Engineering preferred)
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt and/or Lean Certification
5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with hands on implementation of Lean and Six Sigma
Analytical ability to assess and resolve technical problems
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong commitment to a team environment
Ability to travel to support plants in US and Mexico
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus

Compensation/
Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Benefits include: 401(k), bonus program, profit sharing plan, life insurance, disability insurance, health & dental insurance, paid vacation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
