Must have Consumer Lending experience (personal loans like auto loans) Finance and Loan background Managerial experience Some knowledge in mortgage lending Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
Requires Strong supervisory and leadership skills along with Solid analytical abilities.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Lending services are efficiently and effectively delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Adequate internal controls are in place.
Appropriate Lending policies, procedures, and training are developed and updated as needed.
Loan volumes, expenses, and profitability are in line with standards.
Good business relations exist with members and their needs are properly anticipated and satisfied.
Lending Managers/Supervisors and personnel are well trained, effective, and their activities are well coordinated.
Assistance and support are provided as needed.
Required reports and records are accurate and timely.
Senior Management is appropriately informed of lending activities and of any significant problems.
Suggestions for improved efficiency or effectiveness are provided and integrated into planning processes.
DUTIES In collaboration with other executive staff, and skilled and trusted departmental employees, develops, implements, operates, maintains, and controls the essential operating systems, information, and lending business of the company.
Defines and implements key performance indicators and strategic objectives for the department and, as appropriate, the entire organization; facilitates measurement of those objectives, reporting results to the executive team.
Drafts and implements policies and best practices to support achievement of objectives and required standards.
Drafts business plans for new products, services, and markets.
Ensures availability of adequate and appropriate equipment, staffing, and systems; recommends additional staffing and services.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, all other items as deemed necessary by management.
