CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and customer- and team-focused individual to join our team as Client Service Representative in Adrian, Michigan.
JOB SUMMARY Performs client services, such as opening and closing all types of depository accounts, processing teller transactions, and assisting clients with questions concerning the bank's products and services.
Recognizes cross-selling and referral opportunities.
DUTIES Opens and closes all types of depository accounts.
Remains current with the knowledge of the variety of product and services offered by the Bank, and consistently cross-sells these products and services to the client.
Processes teller transactions, handles cash and balances teller drawer, as needed.
Assists loan clients with information or documents, as needed.
Makes client calls either via telephone or in person.
Directs clients to appropriate departments for service as necessary.
Orders clients' printed checks.
Maintains inventory of department cashier's checks and other office supplies.
Balances vault.
Processes branch cash orders and sells cash as needed.
Answers office telephones.
Provides services as a notary.
Performs secretarial duties for officers, as needed.
Backups as courier service for business clients, as needed.
Processes the mail for the office.
Assists other office personnel, as needed.
Maintains and protects confidentiality of client information.
Maintains regular, on-time attendance.
Remains current in assigned training and continuing education for designation retention (online, video, in-house emails, telephone seminars, etc.
) Complies with all regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act and all others specific to their position.
Performs other various duties as assigned.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS - INTERNAL Communicates on a regular basis with other New Accounts associates.
Communicates on a regular basis with branch officer/manager and other officers/managers of the bank.
Communicates on a regular basis with the bank couriers.
Communicates on a regular basis with Client Service Representatives at the Main Office.
Communicates frequently with other departments of the bank.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS - EXTERNAL Communicates on a regular basis with clients of the bank.

Previous cash handling and/or banking experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
