Full-time 14 hours ago Full Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY To assist in coordinating all activities relating to IT within the various County departments as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Work is performed under the general supervision of the IT Director.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Over those assigned to assist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
An employee in this class maybe called upon to do any or all of the following:
(These examples do not include all of the tasks which an employee may be expected to perform).
Equipment maintenance and repair, moves, adds and changes User authentication management and support User support via email, phone and/or chat on various hardware platforms network infrastructure and software applications Act as liaison between the various County departments and the IT Department and/or selected consultants Analysis of user functions to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency Perform related work as required.
DESIRABLE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or
Qualifications:
An employee in this class, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following training and experience.
Reasonable knowledge of system analysis and troubleshooting Reasonable knowledge of accounting functions Reasonable knowledge of IT principles and practices Three (3) or more years experience in one or more of the following IT functions:
Hardware/software maintenance, Familiarity with the following network protocols:
TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP Server/network management.
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office, SQL, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook Cisco networking, Cisco VOIP, VLANS WatchGuard Firewall systems desired Some scripting experience (Windows .
bat files, PowerShell, BASH, etc.
) Basic Linux knowledge Familiarity with IT Security topics (Malware, Phishing, Ransomware, Incident Response, computer and Network Security/Defense solutions, etc.
) Customer Service experience Ability to work with and assist Department Heads and users.
PHYSICAL ABILITY This job requires frequent sitting and standing; frequent talking or hearing, occasional gripping with hands or feeling with hands; typing/repetitive movement, occasional reaching with hands and arms, occasional walking, occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, occasional standing.
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
